Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what BumpDate does and does not do with your information. The short version: BumpDate is built to need no personal data at all. The calculators run in your browser, so the dates you enter are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to a server. We do not operate a backend database that stores what you calculate.

1. What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. There is no account to create, no form that asks for your name, email, or location, and no file upload. The only inputs are dates and numbers you type into the calculators, and those stay on your device. We do not run analytics that build a profile of individual visitors, and we do not sell or share any personal information because we do not collect any. We also do not set first-party cookies that follow you between visits, so each return to the site starts fresh.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

BumpDate itself does not set tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser; advertising or analytics features, if enabled in the future, may use cookies to remember preferences or measure ad views. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, and doing so does not affect the calculators.

3. Third-party vendors

If advertising is turned on, the site may use third-party advertising and analytics vendors — for example Google AdSense — to serve ads and measure impressions. These vendors are independent companies that operate under their own privacy policies, and they may use their own cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

4. Google AdSense and the DoubleClick cookie

Google, as a third-party vendor, may use the DoubleClick cookie to serve ads based on your prior visits. The DoubleClick cookie helps Google and its partners show ads based on your activity across websites. 5. Opting out of personalized advertising

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices. That page lets you manage preferences for many participating ad networks. You can also adjust cookie settings in your own browser, or install a browser extension that blocks third-party cookies.

6. Your controls

Because BumpDate stores nothing about you, the main control you have is over your browser: clear cookies, block third-party cookies, or use private browsing. Doing so does not affect the calculators, which work fully offline.

7. Children's privacy

BumpDate is a general informational site and is not directed at children. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we do not knowingly collect information from minors, and there is nothing to delete or correct on our side.

8. Changes to this policy
